This scope is the real thing for shots up to 100 to 150 yards. It is sharp and clear and with the choice of red, green or plain sighting choices, you can tune it to your own satisfaction. After zeroing it in you can't help but to hit any target you acquire. Very easy install, and very easy zeroing after reading the instructions. It is not for long range shooting (Over 150 yards) because you can not focus the scope at or above those ranges. But for most shots in areas where a 100 yard target would be a stretch, (Most targets around here are more in the 50 to 75 yard range.) then this is a great little scope.

This was mounted on an AR platform in 5.56 and the gun anchored in a lead-sled with sandbags, the scope is great at 50 yards. Optics are bright and clear. The adjustable AO works well within a few feet to 50 yards. At 100 yards with the AO adjusted accordingly, 3 to 5x is good but beyond that, forget it! I also had trouble dialing in my groups though they were within 3 to 4 inches. Elevation was right on the money. Windage was off slightly to the left. At 200 yards, the scope is displaying what you pay for. Groups opened way up HIGH with no windage consistency, AO at infinity and at 9x and the target is not that sharply focused let alone you cannot see your shots on a splatter target. (At 5 to 9x). When dialed back down at 50 yards, it was fine. Same at 100 yards. Construction is solid and the controls rotate/move as they should with no binding. The illumination of the cross-hairs is great and the intensity adjustment is very good. The turret type adjustments and locked in zero work very well. It is advertised as a close-quarters scope and for that, it actually is quite good. But they would have been better off keeping it as a fixed power or 1 to 4x power. Beyond 100 yards this scope is barely usable. For the small price tag, it delivered what you would expect in a compact scope with all the features. Read full review

This is my 2nd UTG scope purchase. For the price? You'd be hard pressed to find better. Build quality seems solid and the glass is clear. The locking adjustment turrets are a very nice feature, as well as the ability to reset them back to zero once the scope has been sighted in. The scope caps are good ones that open and close with positive action. They are a very nice bonus. The quick release rings are also decent and have an anchor screw adjustment in them that allow you to tighten up the clamps on them which I highly suggest you do as mine shook loose while sighting the scope in (mounted on my FN FS2000). The scope held zero with a total of 150 rounds after I set it. I would have given the scope 5 STARS if not for 2 things: EYE RELIEF. Not the greatest, but not the worst I've ever owned either. The FN2000 has one of the worst cheek weld positions to begin with, so the scopes limited eye relief became more pronounced. IT ISN'T BAD, just touchy. A little to forward or back and the sight picture gets thrown a little 'off'. I would not recommend this scope for action shooting. It would be OK for hunting and is more than adequate for plinking, but not for shooting while on the move. But to be fair there's a TON of other choices for optics for that type of shooting, even from UTG so keep that in mind. 2nd and final gripe I have with this scope is the "MILDOT" retiicle. The 'dots' on the reticle are not so much dots as they are notches. They are very small. Not a big deal but the first UTG scope I purchased (a dedicated 4X MILDOT) has what I expect in a MILDOT reticle. This scope does not. All in all the scope is a good one, a GREAT one for the price. It has a bunch of features you'd expect to find on a scope that costs a lot more. So if you are looking for a military grade scope that is next to indestructible? Get a Steiner. If you want a decent 9X scope for super affordable price? This scope is worth a look.Read full review

My experience with this scope has risen to the high expectations that it would be everything it advertised to be. It is an excellent scope for the double recoil of a piston type air gun. The optics are very sharp. the initial zeroing in was easy. The lighted reticles give the extra edge for finding the sweet spot of my target. In the three days that I have had and used this scope I am 7 for 8 on my intended targets! The eye relief could be a little better. For the money I spent and its purpose and am very happy I bought this scope! Highly recommended!

I purchased this cope for an SKS due to size constraints when using any scope on the SKS platform (to anyone who doesn't know, the SKS fires 7.62x39mm rounds), wasn't sure because I've used UTG gear before and it sucked. I was talked into getting this with a ton of hesitation, but I got it anyway. I was pleasantly surprised. It has a wire reticle that's illuminated green\red with general purpose mil-dots, the locking and resettable windage and elevation knobs are awesome, I think all scopes should have this feature. That's one of the best parts about this scope. it's holding zero after 100rds so far, the 3x9 and AO motions are firm but fluid and the quick detach scope rings are a nice feature and built rock solid. The flip up cap construction and mountings are nice and sturdy and the sunshade is a nice little bonus (although on my SKS, it interferes with the spent shell ejection causing stove piping because it sits low) As long as this holds up over time (and I hope it does) this is well worth the $$. Overall, it's build quality is solid, and it has all the "bells and whistles" as some more expensive scopes out there and a fraction of the cost. Function has been so far flawless and look forward to beating up on it some more to see how well it holds up.Read full review
